Mobile Bike Repair Servicing Greater Burlington, VT and the Upper Valley
Cowbell is a rolling bike shop that gets you back on your bike fast and at your convenience. Cowbell services everything from race bikes to bike path cruisers with all the parts in stock to get the bike completed the same day. Most of my work consists of general tune-ups and keeping my clients bikes running like new but with 24 years of bicycle mechanic experience I can work on any bike out there.
Schedule an appointment with Cowbell and a fully loaded van will arrive stocked with all the common repair parts. A place for everything and everything in it’s place, repairing bicycles inside a Ford Transit van is much more efficient then you might expect.
With everything at my fingertips and no distractions I can concentrate on repairing your bike. Foldable road and mountain bike tires are hung near the ceiling and magnetic strips keep the tools secure when traveling. The van outfit was done by the craftsmen at Progressive Manufacturing in West Lebanon, NH. As you can see I have my workstand permanently attached to service bikes year round.
Power is generated by a Goal Zero Yeti 1250, this gives me enough energy to power the inside lights, and the Nespresso espresso machine. The two side cabinets are filled with specialty tools, disc brake pads, a carbon hacksaw, headset tools and my beloved Abbey Tool bearing press. The back tool cabinet is home to spare spokes, bearings, chainrings, wheel truing supplies and extra cassettes.
I have accounts from Shimano, SRAM, Wheels Manufacturing, Giro, SeaSucker, and more. Here you can see the Ranger Design rack with two inches cut off to fit perfectly stores Shimano bottom brackets, cleats, chains, and Di2 equipment. SRAM has the next shelf full of cassettes, chains, disc brake pads, handlebar tape and some press fit bottom brackets. On the ceiling and walls are all my certificates which include all th e Shimano S-T.E.C. certificates, Bosch e-Bike certified, Guru fit certified, and more.
