US Cyclocross Nationals right here in New England. We had truly epic conditions with everything from dry grass, rain, mud, frozen ruts, then about 5 inches of snow. #Cowbellracing had a good contingent with everyone loving the course with the difficult conditions. Above is Masters racer Barney Brannen. By the end he was covered in some CT mud.
The course layout had everything from steep wide run-ups, flowing turns with angled steaks in the ground so you could really carve turns as demonstrated here by Alix Norris.
The pros had better conditions then many of the masters and single speed racers. Here is Stephen Hyde on his way to winning the US National jersey. He crossed the finish line with a ripped off rear derailleur and flat front tire. Like a Boss.
